This product is grown fresh weekly in our own growing facility here in Atlanta, GA! This is the most popular and sought after phytoplankton for feeding zooplankton and corals! With a cell size of 4-6 microns, these cells are twice the size of your normal Nanochlorosis species (species that is seen mostly sold online) and are the perfect size for feeding Rotifers, copepods, artemia and other zooplanktons as well as corals!

It's Alive!:

YES - this is LIVE Phytoplankton! Once you place your order, we will cultivate it from our reactors, giving you the freshest phyto available! Since this phyto is alive, you can actually culture your own from our bottles!

Greenwater:

This product can also be used to produce Greenwater in aquariums.

Storage:
We recommend storing this at 40 degrees to prolong the shelflife. If the product cannot be used within a months time, you may also freeze the phyto for use at a later time. This is one of the only species that can be frozen and still be ok once thawed! (we recommend using ice cube trays for freezing so that you can take out small quantities at a time when feeding!)

Since the phyto is heavier than the water, the phyto occasionally will settle down to the bottom of the bottle. If this occurs, just shake the bottle up until the coloring is consistant throughout!
