If you have any problems with a damaged box or bad rock, simply return it to us for a brand new shipment the very next day! Ship Second Day or Faster for the best results. We will pay for additional shipping insurance up to $200 a case. Ship any slower and we are more than happy to do what ever our customers would request of us but any claims (if any) are between the customer and UPS unless in the event it was due to our fault for bad packaging. This would apply in the case where we rebox an item in our own cases and if it was found by UPS to be very poor or improper packaging which we are very consciences of. 99% of the time however because we tranship, and in the case of our largest seller "Premium Fiji Live Rock", our rock is shipped in the same wax coated, corogated boxes where the rock is sealed with plastic and the rock covered with moist newspaper to keep your animals alive, is the way it's shipped to us from Fiji and thus forwarded in the very same packaging to you. If you choose the slower method in order to save money, the choice is yours and for the record it isn't advisable particularly for long distance shipments like East Coast or Out of the Country shipments. Repackaging is an option for these shipments to insure extra strength and to add an additional 2" + of padding around the entire box! There is an extra cost for this. You must call or email us and let us know what your shipping requirements are or inform us of any other special requests before your order goes out so we may help you the best way possible. Please allow me to reinstate, that if you ship 2nd day or slower, you are required to call in the damaged goods within 24 hours to UPS at 800-PICKUPS, have an investigator come out to inspect your damaged goods and once they have processed the claim and issued us a refund number, we will immediately reship you a new case. Anything slower than overnight, UPS "Will not Cover Live Stock Shipments". This is their terms, not ours so we have to follow suit. Please be advised. | | Warranties This is a brief run down on any refunds we send back and what we don't. 1. First and foremost, we do not warranty any product, livestock or other unless otherwise indicated on that item specifically beyond the manufacturer warranty or guarantees if given and it's the customers responsibility to have sent in any manufacturer warranty cards and make contact with them for direction. All transactions will be between customer and manufacturer. 2. If in the case that Wholesale Aquatic Supplies accepts a return, there is a 35% restocking fee on the cost of the product or drygoods and 50% on any livestock which must be in unused excellent condition. This offer would expire within 30 days if not warrantied differently such as an extended warranty purchase. 3. Shipping and Handling Costs are not refundable. Customer is responsible to ship back the damaged or unwanted item to be returned and will be charged for the return of the new product or livestock. 4. Other terms may apply. See our Policy, Shipping or Terms for further details. | Damaged Items We will only backup shippings of up to 50 lbs per order as this has already been approved by UPS for shipping insurance and if anything happens to your rock, sand or other livestock in shipping. Note: Never RTS (Return To Sender) if your item arrives damaged. Accept it and call us so we can have UPS run a claim on it and process it for an exchange. If product is returned to us via RTS as we have advised you not to, no refund will be given nor will an exchange be returned as our claim for shipping damage will be denied as UPS will see it as a successful delivery but a customer refusal. In the event of any damage, just accept the package and call us for a FREE pickup so you can get a quick exchange.
